SH 151 Ramps Close in Daylight Between Potranco Road and I-410 Through November 6, on Top of the Halloween Weekend Highway Work

Daytime entrance and exit ramp closures on State Highway 151 between FM 1957 (Potranco Road) and just west of I-410 run through November 6 — a weekday work zone waiting on the far West Side after the weekend closures clear.

The Halloween weekend closures end by Monday, but one far West Side work zone does not. Daytime closures have blocked entrance and exit ramps along State Highway 151 between FM 1957 — Potranco Road — and Cable Ranch Road, roughly four-tenths of a mile west of Interstate 410, according to the TxDOT closure listing read this cycle: the ramp closures span mile markers 482 to 484, cutting off direct ramp access in that stretch while work continues.

The listing's clock is a weekday one. The daytime-only operation began at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, October 26, and is scheduled to conclude on Friday, November 6, by 3:00 p.m. — so the ramps are a daytime problem, not an overnight one, and they outlast every other closure on this weekend's board: the US 90 westbound striping closure ends about 5 a.m. Sunday (SQ-20261030-076) and the Loop 1604/I-10 interchange work runs nightly through Monday (SQ-20261030-069).

For far West Side drivers, the practical map is simple: through November 6, do not count on entering or exiting SH 151 between Potranco and the I-410 junction in daylight hours — the frontage and the neighboring interchanges carry the trips instead. The listing names no full main-lane closure on 151 itself; the highway's lanes stay, its ramps in that stretch are what go.
