Pre-Dawn Weather: Fog at 68 in San Antonio, Halloween Tops Out Near 74, and Election Day's Rain Chance Jumps to 57 Percent (T.W.A. NEWS)

Halloween opened gray and damp in San Antonio. The station's live Open-Meteo feed, read this cycle, showed 67.8 degrees and feeling like 71.9 under overcast skies, and Saturday's own code has turned to 45 — fog — with a high of 74.3, a low of 67.4, and a 5 percent precipitation chance. The fog code is new: at 02:04 the day read drizzle, and by the pre-dawn feed the morning had settled into fog instead, the kind of start that makes early Halloween errands a headlights-on drive.

The rest of the weekend warms and dries. Sunday, November 1, reads overcast at 77.8 with a low of 64.4 and a 3 percent chance — and it is the day the clocks fall back, so its early hours run long. Monday turns foggy again (code 45) but warm: 85.4 with a low of 69.2 and a 3 percent chance, the warm runway into Election Day the week's files have tracked.

Election Day itself moved the most overnight. Tuesday, November 3, now reads rain showers (code 80) at a high of 76.6 and a low of 63.3, with the precipitation chance up to 57 percent — it sat at 43 percent in both overnight files before this one. Wednesday clears to sunny at 75 with a 2 percent chance, Thursday turns mainly clear at 77.5 with a 4 percent chance, and Friday, November 6, reads mainly clear at 79.1 with a 7 percent chance. Tuesday's voters should treat the umbrella as part of the plan, not a precaution.
