Loop 1604 and I-10 Interchange Closures Run Nightly This Weekend, From Friday Through Monday Morning
TxDOT closes the Loop 1604 frontage roads in both directions and the eastbound I-10 mainlanes nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., October 30 through November 2, for bridge-widening work — while all flyover ramps stay open.

The Texas Department of Transportation is warning drivers about overnight closures at the Loop 1604 and Interstate 10 interchange this weekend for bridge-widening work, according to KTSA's report of the TxDOT warning, read in full this cycle. The eastbound and westbound Loop 1604 frontage roads, along with the eastbound I-10 mainlanes, will close nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., beginning Friday, October 30, through Monday, November 2, weather permitting.
Drivers will be directed onto frontage roads and U-turns to get around the closures. Truck and oversized vehicles will have a separate detour, TxDOT said.
All flyover ramps at the interchange will remain open through the weekend work. Drivers should follow posted detour signs and allow extra time for overnight travel across the North Side interchange.
