Eastbound Loop 410 and the San Pedro Exit Have Reopened After the Blanco Bridge Demolition Closure
The eastbound I-410 closure near Spur 537 — two right lanes, the San Pedro exit ramp and a frontage lane — cleared Monday morning after a weekend demolition that began Friday night.

Eastbound Loop 410 is open again. The closure on eastbound I-410 near Spur 537, between mile markers 20 and 21, has been reported reopened, with the exit ramp to San Pedro Avenue back in service as of Monday morning, Oct. 26.
The closure shut the San Pedro exit ramp completely, along with the two right mainlanes and the left lane of the eastbound frontage road. Crews carried out the scheduled demolition of the Blanco bridge over the exit ramp, and a marked detour redirected drivers to exit at either Blanco Road or Airport Boulevard while the work was in place.
The operation began at 9 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 23, and was scheduled to remain in place continuously until about 5 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 26. For Tuesday's AM drive, the practical point is the corridor is clear again — but the wider Loop 410 and U.S. 281 work in this area continues, so drivers should still expect intermittent ramp and lane work in the corridor on later nights.
