SeaWorld San Antonio's Halloween Ends Sunday: Spooktacular by Day, Howl-O-Scream After 7 P.M.
The park's two Halloween programs close Sunday, November 1: the family Spooktacular by day — trick-or-treating for children 12 and younger — and Howl-O-Scream at night, with five haunted houses, eight 'Terror-tories,' three shows and seven themed bars, and a costume rule that flips after dark.

SeaWorld San Antonio is in the final weekend of two very different Halloween programs, and both end Sunday, November 1, according to the park's event pages as reported this cycle and read in full. By day, Halloween Spooktacular is the family option: included with park admission, it features trick-or-treating for children age 12 and younger — candy while supplies last, with reusable bags sold in park shops — kid-friendly entertainment, character appearances and the Spookley the Square Pumpkin maze.
The costume rule is the detail families get wrong. Daytime guests may dress in costume, but costume masks and hoods are prohibited, and face painting is allowed only when park artists do it; the nighttime event states that costumes are not allowed at all. Anyone arriving in a daytime costume and staying into the evening should ask a team member how the nighttime restriction will be handled before entering the adult-oriented areas, the report advised. One element runs through both halves of the day: the park's Día de los Muertos display, with alebrijes, Mexican folk music and sugar-skull characters, is available during both programs.
Howl-O-Scream begins at 7 p.m., with entry available at 6 p.m., runs to park close on its selected Fridays through Sundays, and is included with a regular single-day ticket, the park says. It is aimed at a mature audience and contains depictions of violence, gore and blood; its official page lists five haunted houses, eight 'Terror-tories,' three shows and seven themed bars, with optional paid upgrades for priority access and reserved seating. The park's hours page warns that schedules update periodically and advises checking the specific date's showtimes before leaving home — sound advice on a closing Halloween weekend.
