Night Weather: 76 Degrees and Overcast in San Antonio, Election Day Rain Holds at 66 Percent, and Saturday Turns Thunderstorm-Coded at 85 (T.W.A. NEWS)

San Antonio settles into Sunday night mild and grey. The station's live Open-Meteo feed, read at this cycle, showed 75.8 degrees feeling like 80.8 under an overcast code (3), closing a Sunday that topped out at the revised high of 83 with a low of 66.2 and a 2 percent precipitation chance — the warm, dry close to the Dia de los Muertos weekend the desk's 17:00 evening file promised.

Election Day's rain call holds for a third straight file. Tuesday, November 3 reads code 63, rain, at a high of 78.8 and a low of 63.5, with the precipitation chance unchanged at 66 percent; Bexar County polls run 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and a wet trip to the vote center remains the plan. Monday in between has changed its character: the fog code (45) in the evening file is gone, replaced by overcast (code 3) at 79.5 with a low of 68.5 and a 2 percent chance.

The back of the week moved the most. Wednesday is now mainly clear (code 1) at 77.1, Thursday warmed sharply to 81.1 under a mainly-clear code (1) at a 3 percent chance — up from 77.9 and a drizzle code in the 17:00 file — and Friday is overcast at 80 with the chance at 15 percent. Saturday, November 7 is the new headline: a thunderstorm code (95) at a high of 84.6 and a low of 60.5, with the precipitation chance at 20 percent, where the evening file had plain overcast at 81.7. The desk will track whether the storm code holds as the week develops.
