Monday's Final Weather Call: Election Day Is Now Rain at 63 Percent, and San Antonio Sits Overcast at 75 (T.W.A. NEWS)

San Antonio closes election eve warm and gray. The station's live Open-Meteo feed, read for this final update of the night, showed 75.1 degrees feeling like 81.7 under an overcast sky (code 3), at the end of a Monday that topped out at 85.1 and will bottom at 67.9 with no precipitation.

Tuesday, November 3 — Election Day — has firmed up in the wrong direction for a dry walk to the polls. The feed now carries Tuesday as rain (code 65, strengthened from the showers code 81 carried at 21:04 and the rain code 63 carried earlier in the evening), a high of 75.5 and a low of 60.4, with the precipitation chance up to 63 percent from 59 percent. Bexar County vote centers run 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.; on this call, rain at some point in the voting day is the likeliest outcome of the day, and the morning voter should plan on wet roads, slick parking lots and rain gear alongside the photo ID.

Behind Election Day the pattern settles and cools. Wednesday is clear at 74.3 with a low of 55.5 and no precipitation chance, Thursday carries light drizzle at 80.7 with a 5 percent chance, Friday and Saturday are overcast at 71.4 and 72.3 with chances of 5 and 20 percent, and Sunday is partly cloudy at 74.6 with a 17 percent chance.
