Monday Night Weather Update: Election Day's Rain Chance Rises to 59 Percent for San Antonio (T.W.A. NEWS)

San Antonio cooled into a mild election eve. The station's live Open-Meteo feed, read for this evening update, showed 77.4 degrees feeling like 82.2 under a mainly clear sky (code 1), with Monday's high at 85.1 and the low at 67.9 and no precipitation chance left in the day.

Tuesday, November 3 — Election Day — has firmed up wetter since the desk's 17:00 file. The feed now carries Tuesday as rain (code 63, up from the earlier showers code), a high of 76.7 and a low of 60.1, with the precipitation chance up to 59 percent from 52 percent at 17:00 and 48 percent in the PM file. Bexar County vote centers run 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.; on this call, rain at some point in the voting day is now the likelier outcome, and voters heading out early or late should plan for wet roads and keep rain gear in the car.

Behind Election Day the pattern holds. Wednesday is clear at 76.4 with a low of 54.8 and no precipitation chance, Thursday carries light drizzle at 80.7 with a 4 percent chance, Friday and Saturday are overcast at 71.4 and 72.3 with chances of 5 and 31 percent, and Sunday is partly cloudy at 74.6 with a 17 percent chance.
