A Campus Polling Place and a 12-Hour Saturday: San Antonio's Weekend Early-Voting Guide

San Antonio voters who want a campus stop on their route have one. UT San Antonio's Main Campus is serving as an early voting location for the November 2026 election, giving registered Bexar County voters a place to cast ballots from October 19 through October 30 and again on Election Day, November 3, the university says.

On Main Campus, voting is in the H-E-B Student Union Bexar Room (HSU 1.102), and free spaces for short-term voter parking are identified in the northern section of the Ximenes Lot. Registered voters closer to the Downtown Campus can vote at the Bexar County Elections Department, 1103 S. Frio St. Curbside voting is available at all voting centers in Bexar County — look for the parking spot with the curbside sign and the number to call — and voters with visual impairments can cast ballots through the OmniBallot Accessible Absentee Portal.

The weekend hours are the practical news. Polls are open Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., then Saturday, October 24, offers a 12-hour day, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., followed by Sunday from noon to 6 p.m. Hours expand to 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. for the final week, Monday through Friday, October 26 to 30, and Election Day is Tuesday, November 3, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. All voters must present an approved form of photo identification; electronic devices are not allowed within 100 feet of polling locations, but printed voter guides are welcome in the booth.

Voters are deciding federal, state and local races, including contests for U.S. Senate, Texas governor, lieutenant governor, attorney general, U.S. House and other legislative, county and judicial offices.
