UTSA's Nov. 5 Game at Florida Atlantic Picked for a National ESPN Broadcast as the 7-1 Roadrunners Lead the League
The American Conference and ESPN announced Monday that UTSA's Thursday, Nov. 5 road game at Florida Atlantic will air on ESPN at 6:30 p.m. CT — the Roadrunners' second Thursday-night ESPN appearance of the season.

UTSA is headed back to national television. Officials from the American Conference and ESPN announced Monday that the Roadrunners' road game at Florida Atlantic on Thursday, Nov. 5, has been selected for an ESPN broadcast at 7:30 p.m. ET / 6:30 p.m. CT from Flagler Credit Union Stadium in Boca Raton, according to UTSA Athletics via BVM Sports.
It will be UTSA's second appearance of the season on ESPN's Thursday-night telecast: the Roadrunners defeated South Florida 31-24 on Oct. 8 at the Alamodome on the network. UTSA is idle this Saturday, Oct. 31, before the Florida Atlantic trip, so the ESPN game opens the season's final stretch — North Texas at home on Nov. 14, at UAB on Nov. 21, and Tulsa at home to close the regular season.
The Roadrunners carry a 7-1 record and a five-game winning streak into November and sit atop the league standings at 4-0, according to the announcement. Their latest win came Saturday at Tulane, a 42-19 road victory in which the defense forced six turnovers. A win in Boca Raton would keep UTSA in control of its path to the American Conference championship game on Dec. 5.
