Transit Leaders Gather in San Antonio This Week as Transit Technologies Unveils Its AI Operating Suite
The Transit Mobility Alliance Conference runs October 27-30 at the Marriott Rivercenter under the theme 'Be In the Driver's Seat,' with former Spur Bruce Bowen delivering the keynote and a new AI suite for transit agencies headlining the program.

Transit Technologies opened its annual Transit Mobility Alliance Conference (TMAC) in San Antonio on Tuesday, running October 27 through 30 at the Marriott Rivercenter, the company announced in a PR Newswire release. Under the theme 'Be In the Driver's Seat,' the conference brings together transit operators, fleet managers and public agency leaders.
The company is unveiling TransitTechOS, which it describes as an AI-first transit operating suite now available to select clients through early-access programs, bringing service, fleet, workforce, safety and operational data into a single view. Its reimagined Ecolane platform for demand-response and paratransit re-optimizes trips as cancellations, delays and staffing changes occur while leaving dispatchers the final say on assignments, and a FASTER AI Analyst planned for release in November is designed to let fleet teams ask natural-language questions of their data. 'Our clients keep service moving while conditions change by the minute, and they deserve tools that keep pace,' CEO Gerry Leonard said in the release.
The conference also debuts The Pit Stop, a drop-in destination for one-on-one support, and three-time NBA champion and former San Antonio Spurs standout Bruce Bowen will deliver the keynote, sharing lessons on discipline, resilience and teamwork. Transit Technologies says it serves more than 4,000 clients worldwide and powers more than 54 million rides with its software.
