How to Watch the Spurs: Sinclair Deal Puts 22 Games on CW SA, Starting Tuesday Against Sacramento
The Spurs signed a new over-the-air broadcast deal with Sinclair Broadcast Group on Friday — 22 regular-season games on CW SA and other South Texas stations, with the first broadcast Tuesday night.

Watching the Spurs just gained another channel. The team signed a broadcasting deal with Sinclair Broadcast Group on Friday, October 23, that will put 22 regular-season games on CW SA and other stations across South Texas, CultureMap San Antonio reported from the announcement.
Sinclair, the Maryland-based company that also owns FOX SA and NBC affiliate WOAI, will be the Spurs' over-the-air broadcast partner starting this season. The games will be available across the region by digital antenna, cable, satellite and live TV streaming providers. "The Spurs are an important part of the fabric of South Texas, and we're proud to partner with the team to bring more games to fans across the region," Rob Weisbord, Sinclair's chief operating officer and president of local media, said in a release.
The new deal adds to a crowded map. Under the NBA's national media deals, Spurs games are split among Amazon's Prime Video, ESPN and ABC, and NBC and Peacock, and locally some national broadcasts air on WOAI and KSAT 12. Separately, the Spurs recently signed with subscription service DAZN to stream every regular-season game not reserved for a national broadcast, and the team's official schedule sorts out which games air where. "Our fans are incredibly passionate and supportive and should have as many ways as possible to watch and connect with the Spurs," Frank Miceli, chief commercial officer of Spurs Sports & Entertainment, said in the release.
CW SA's first Spurs broadcast is Tuesday, October 27, when San Antonio hosts the Sacramento Kings — a game that will also stream on DAZN and air on WOAI radio. Before that, the Spurs play Houston in Austin on Friday night and at Dallas on Saturday night.
