San Antonio's Luminaria Contemporary Arts Festival has announced the lineup for its 2026 edition: a slate of 44 visual artists, artist collectives, performers, poets and music groups will present at the free one-night event on Saturday, November 14, from 6 p.m. to midnight, according to the festival's announcement as reported by Glasstire on October 25.

Now in its 16th year, the multimedia festival has found a new location near its original downtown home. Its footprint along West Houston Street will incorporate existing public art installations in and around San Pedro Culture Park, including a mural by the artist Rubio; the St. James AMEC Culture Crossing, the site of a historically significant 19th-century Black church, with pavilion sculpture by Gordon Huether and work by former San Antonio Poet Laureate Andrea 'Vocab' Sanderson; sculptures by San Antonio artists RHYS and Diana Kersey; and the monumental stainless steel Miss Mao sculpture by the Gao Brothers of Beijing. The UTSA Institute of Texan Cultures and the Centro de Artes gallery will both offer extended hours during the evening festival, Glasstire reported.

San Antonio visual artists on the bill include neon artist Adam Smolenski, the Saint Anthony's Findings Collective, Barbara Felix and Pamela Martinez, Los Tierras, and Blacksalt+Zividinovic, alongside students of the UTSA Southwest Saturday Teen Studio Intensive led by Alex Casso and Kim Bishop and Our Lady of the Lake University students led by Suzy González. Video works and digital art projections will come from Austin artist Yuliya Lanina and MetaCaustics, among others, on a list that also includes Emilie Duval, Lesley Kell and Jesus Toro Martinez.
