Foster Drops Navarrete Twice in the 12th to Unify Three Titles at 130 in San Antonio
O'Shaquie Foster beat Emanuel Navarrete by unanimous decision — 118-108, 118-108 and 115-111 — at Frost Bank Center on Saturday night, adding the WBO and IBF belts to his WBC title with two knockdowns in the final round.

San Antonio has a unified champion at 130 pounds. O'Shaquie Foster defeated Emanuel Navarrete by unanimous decision at Frost Bank Center on Saturday night, winning on scores of 118-108, 118-108 and 115-111 to retain his WBC super featherweight title and take Navarrete's WBO and IBF belts. Foster (26-3, 12 knockouts) controlled most of the night with sharp counters and movement against Navarrete's pressure, outlanding him 157 to 99 overall and 114 to 70 in power punches, while Navarrete (40-3-1, 33 knockouts) landed just 18.8 percent of his punches.
Navarrete had his moments — pressure along the ropes in the third round, a competitive rally in the tenth, and a heavy punch late in the eleventh that hurt Foster and raised the stakes for the final round. Foster settled it there. With Navarrete chasing a knockout he now needed, Foster caught him coming in with counter right hands and put him down twice in the twelfth. Navarrete beat both counts, but the knockdowns removed any doubt the cards might have held.
The result completes the card this station followed all evening in San Antonio, where the main-card opener and prelims had already gone in the books before the headliners made their ring walks. Foster said after the fight that an undisputed run comes first — WBA champion Anthony Cacace defends against Nick Ball on December 19 — with Shakur Stevenson also at the top of his list. For one night at Frost Bank Center, though, three of the division's four belts left in the same hands.
