200-Plus Varieties and $5 Pots: The Botanical Garden's October Plant Sale Runs Saturday and Sunday
The San Antonio Botanical Garden's October Plant Sale fills the Greenhouse Yard from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. both days with native plants, succulents, grasses and pollinator-friendly picks — a timed $10 reservation is required, and it comes off your purchase.

Fall planting season gets its big weekend at the San Antonio Botanical Garden. The garden's October Plant Sale runs Saturday and Sunday, October 24 and 25, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the Greenhouse Yard at 555 Funston Place, with more than 200 varieties of native plants, succulents, grasses and pollinator-friendly plants on offer, according to the garden's official sale page.
Getting in takes a reservation: the sale is timed and ticketed, with a $10 reservation fee that is applied to your plant purchase — though multiple reservation fees cannot be combined into a single transaction. All transactions are cashless, by card or tap to pay, and garden members get 10 percent off their entire plant sale purchase. Plants are restocked continuously through both days while supplies last, the garden says.
The price list is posted plainly: gallon pots $12, the Select Series $20, 4-inch pots $5, large pots $45, specialty plants $15, succulent arrangements $25 and pollinator kits $30. Garden admission is not included with a sale reservation — and it is not required to shop the sale, so a plant run does not have to become a full garden visit unless you want it to.
