Bexar In-Person Early Voting Reaches 328,008 Through Day Eight, Running at 151 Percent of 2022's Pace
County-reported daily figures put Bexar County's in-person early vote at 328,008 through Monday's eighth day — half again the county's 2022 pace at the same point — with four voting days left.

Bexar County's early-voting surge is holding into the final week. The county early-vote tracker, compiled day by day from Bexar County's own turnout reporting, puts in-person early votes at 328,008 through Monday, the eighth day of the 12-day early-voting period. Monday's final count alone was 43,839 in-person votes. Against the same point in the last midterm, the county is running at 151 percent of 2022's pace — 328,008 in-person votes through day eight, compared with 217,500 through day eight in 2022. Mail ballots returned stood at 21,040 through Monday, counted from the county's daily mail rosters.
Tuesday is day nine. The tracker lists 58 early-voting locations open across the county, with polls running 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. In-person early voting ends Friday, Oct. 30, and Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 3. Bexar voters can cast an early ballot at any open location in the county, not only the site nearest home.
The tracker is unofficial — it is not affiliated with or endorsed by Bexar County Elections, and it republishes the county's own turnout page and daily rosters on a schedule, so its totals can shift slightly when the county restates a prior day. The county's official source remains elections.bexar.gov. What is not in dispute in either set of numbers is the shape of the week: every completed day of this midterm's early voting has outrun the county's 2022 midterm pace.
