Early Voting in Bexar County Runs 12 Hours Saturday: 7 A.M. to 7 P.M. at Almost Every Site
Saturday is the longest early-voting day of the first week in Bexar County — polls open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at any early voting site, with Sunday hours noon to 6 p.m. and the final week running 7 to 7 through October 30.

Bexar County voters who could not get to a polling place during the workweek get their longest window yet on Saturday: early voting sites are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., twelve hours, and registered Bexar voters can cast a ballot at any early voting location in the county, not just the one nearest home.
The official site list for the November 3 election shows 58 early voting locations. Two branch sites are the exceptions to the Saturday hours: the Bexar County Justice Center at 300 Dolorosa and the Valley Ranch Community Center are weekdays-only sites and are closed Saturday and Sunday, according to the county's published early-voting guide. Sunday hours across the remaining sites are noon to 6 p.m., and the final week of early voting, Monday through Friday, October 26-30, runs 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. every day.
The weekend hours arrive after a record-setting opening week: more than 42,000 ballots were cast on the first day of early voting, the highest first-day turnout for a non-presidential election in county history, with election officials deploying additional equipment to high-turnout sites and reminding voters that anyone in line when polls close will still be allowed to vote.
Early voting ends Friday, October 30, and Election Day is Tuesday, November 3. Voters must present an approved form of photo identification; the Bexar County Elections Department publishes the full site list, sample ballots and registration checks for voters planning their trip.
