Early Voting Enters Its Final Week in Bexar County: Polls Open 7 A.M. to 7 P.M. Through Friday
Early voting for the Nov. 3 election runs its longest hours this week — 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday at early voting sites across Bexar County — before it closes Friday, Oct. 30.

Early voting for the November 2026 election enters its final week on Monday with the longest hours of the run: polls are open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. from Monday, Oct. 26 through Friday, Oct. 30, according to the voting schedule published by UT San Antonio and confirmed on the City of Helotes election page, both read by the Politics Desk this cycle. Registered Bexar County voters can cast a ballot at any early voting location in the county, not only the one in their home precinct. Early voting runs Oct. 19–30, and Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 3, with polls open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
On UT San Antonio's Main Campus, voters can cast their ballots in the H-E-B Student Union Bexar Room (HSU 1.102), with free spaces for short-term voter parking identified in the northern section of the Ximenes Lot. Voters closer to downtown can vote at the Bexar County Elections Department, 1103 S. Frio St. in San Antonio. The ballot carries federal, state and local races, including contests for U.S. Senate, Texas governor, lieutenant governor, attorney general, U.S. House and other legislative, county and judicial offices.
All voters must present an approved form of photo identification. Electronic devices are prohibited within 100 feet of polling locations, but voters may take printed voter guides with them to the voting booth. Curbside voting is available at all voting centers in Bexar County for voters physically unable to enter the polling place. The Bexar County Elections Department offers voter registration status checks, additional polling locations and sample ballots, and the Texas Secretary of State's site is a further resource for voters statewide.
