Bexar County voters cast 41,316 in-person early ballots on Wednesday, Oct. 28 — the tenth day of early voting — bringing the county's in-person total to 411,337, according to the Bexar Early Vote tracker, which compiles its day-by-day figures from the county's own live count page and documents its sourcing in detail. Wednesday's figure follows Tuesday's 42,013, which had brought the total through nine days to 370,021.

The ten-day total has already passed the whole of the last midterm's in-person early vote. Bexar County's certified summary for the Nov. 8, 2022 general election, reproduced on the tracker, records 359,206 in-person early ballots for that entire election — a mark this year's voters passed on Tuesday, with three days of early voting still to run at that point. The tracker is unofficial and not affiliated with the county elections department, and its figures are in-person votes only; mail ballots are counted separately.

Two days remain. Early voting runs through Friday, Oct. 30, and Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 3. Elsewhere in the big Texas metros, the tracker's county-compiled table puts Harris County at 821,000 in-person early ballots so far and Tarrant County at 462,900, with Dallas County's day-ten figure not yet posted when the tracker updated. The Politics Desk's voter-information guidance stands: anyone in line when polls close is still allowed to vote, and voters can confirm their registration and polling locations through the Bexar County Elections Department.
