Bexar County Early Voting Passes 370,021 In-Person Ballots With Three Days Left

Bexar County's early-voting total reached 370,021 in-person ballots through Tuesday, the ninth day of the 12-day early-voting period, according to a tracker built on a scheduled scrape of Bexar County's own live count page. Day 9 alone brought 42,013 in-person votes, up from the cumulative 328,008 recorded through Day 8. The figures count in-person early votes only; mail ballots are not included, and the tracker is unofficial — the county elections department remains the official source.

The daily pace has stayed remarkably steady: Bexar's in-person counts have ranged between roughly 40,700 and 45,700 on each full weekday of the period, with a lower 20,800 on Sunday, Day 7. Early voting runs through Friday, Oct. 30, ahead of Election Day on Tuesday, Nov. 3, when voters will decide the U.S. Senate race between Ken Paxton, James Talarico and Ted Brown, the governor's race, and the full slate of statewide, federal and countywide contests on the Bexar County ballot.

Across the state's biggest metros, the same tracker compilation puts Harris County's in-person total at 742,200 ballots so far and Tarrant County's at 418,700, with Day 9 figures for Travis and Dallas counties not yet posted when the compilation was updated. Day 9 in Harris County brought 75,248 in-person votes from the county's own per-location report, and Tarrant County's Day 9 count was 45,598, from the county's own early-voting totals report.
