Wurstfest Returns to New Braunfels November 6–15: Free Monday–Thursday Admission, Kids 12 and Under Free Every Day (T.W.A. NEWS)

Wurstfest, New Braunfels' German-Texan festival in Landa Park, runs Friday, November 6 through Sunday, November 15, 2026. The festival's published hours open at 4 p.m. on Friday the 6th, run 11 a.m. to midnight on Saturdays and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Sundays, and switch to evening hours, 5 to 10 p.m., Monday through Wednesday, with Thursday and Friday, November 12–13, running 5 to 11 p.m.

The cheapest way in is built into the schedule. General admission is free Monday through Thursday, November 9–12, free again on the final Sunday, November 15, after 3 p.m., and free every day for children 12 and under, according to the festival guides published this week. On paid days, buying in advance costs less than the gate: $15 instead of $20 on Fridays and Sundays, and $25 instead of $30 on Saturdays. Admission covers the whole day, and guests who leave and plan to return should get a hand stamp on the way out.

Getting there takes planning, especially from San Antonio. Parking near the grounds is limited and Saturdays are the heaviest days; the festival's Park 'N Ride runs from the Comal County Fairgrounds, with children 12 and under riding free. At the gates, walk-through metal detectors are in place and bags are searched. Outside food and beverages are not allowed inside; festival bars accept cards and other payments while food vendors take cash, according to the festival's own FAQ and this week's guides.
