Late Forecast Update: Tuesday Cools to 74 Under the Clouds, Wednesday Rebounds to 82 (T.W.A. NEWS)

San Antonio's Tuesday got cooler in the late forecast. The station's live Open-Meteo feed, read late Monday night, puts Tuesday's high at 74 degrees under an overcast sky (weather code 3), with a low of 65 and a 26 percent rain chance — about four degrees below the 78 the Weather Desk's evening file carried, as the cloud deck holds the day down. Late Monday night it was 75 degrees and overcast in the city.

Wednesday rebounds: the feed shows a high of 82 with a low near 63, but the day now carries a rain code (80) with a 22 percent chance — a shower is possible in the warm-up, a change from earlier runs that kept Wednesday dry. Nothing about the late-week story has moved: Thursday stays the wettest day at a 56 percent rain chance with a high of 70, and Friday follows at 46 percent with drizzle (code 53) and a high of 73.

The weekend rebound the desk filed earlier Monday still stands in the late numbers: Saturday clears to 83 with a 14 percent rain chance, and Sunday reaches 88 under overcast skies with rain chances down to 3 percent. The pattern for the week, in one line: a cool, gray Tuesday, one warm day, two wet ones, then summer-like warmth for the weekend.
