San Antonio's overnight weather picture has shifted in two places that matter for the weekend and beyond, according to the station's live Open-Meteo feed read early Thursday. It was 70.5 degrees and overcast at the overnight check, feeling like 75.6, and Thursday now reads as an overcast day rather than a rainy one — code 3, a high of 80.4 and a low of 69.2, with the rain chance still posted at 57 percent.

Friday is the week's wet day, and the feed has strengthened it: Friday's code is now 80, showers, with a high of 71.6, a low of 65.3 and a 55 percent precipitation chance. That is a step up from the drizzle the feed carried for Friday in the last cycle. Saturday recovers to overcast and 79.9 with the rain chance down to 28 percent, and Sunday is overcast and warmer at 83.9 with the chance down to 1 percent — dry weather for the weekend's outdoor plans after Friday.

The early-week picture has also changed. Monday warms to 87.2 with light drizzle, code 51, at a 20 percent chance. Tuesday, which the previous file carried as a thunderstorm chance, now reads as drizzle — code 53, a high of 78 and a 36 percent chance — and Wednesday clears to code 0, sunny, at 81.6 with a low of 60.3. The Weather Desk's next scheduled file is the 05:00 morning forecast.
