The station's live forecast now puts Thursday's rain chance at 58 percent — up from 42 percent in the afternoon file — before a cooler, showery Friday near 71.

San Antonio's rain chances for Thursday have climbed again. The station's live weather feed, built on Open-Meteo data and read at the start of this evening cycle, now puts Thursday's precipitation chance at 58 percent under overcast skies, with a high near 82 and a low near 67.5 — up from the 42 percent chance carried in this afternoon's evening file and the 50 percent the desk noted at mid-afternoon.
Wednesday evening itself stays mild and dry. The feed read 82.5 degrees, feeling like 80.3, under overcast skies at cycle time, closing out a day that topped out at 83.9 with a low of 68 and only a 5 percent rain chance.
Friday turns noticeably cooler and wetter. The feed shows drizzle (weather code 53) with a high of just 70.7, a low of 65.8 and a 40 percent rain chance — the coolest day of the week and the one most likely to affect Halloween-evening plans across the city.
The weekend rebounds. Saturday brings a 21 percent drizzle chance and a high of 80.1, Sunday turns mostly dry at 83.7 with a 3 percent chance, and Monday heats up to 89.2 with a 21 percent drizzle chance before Tuesday cools back to 78.6 with a 30 percent chance. The Weather Desk will update the Thursday and Friday numbers again on the morning file.
