Texas Comptroller Launches a Public Page to Track Education Freedom Accounts Spending
Comptroller Don Huffines on Thursday launched the first phase of his Taxpayer First transparency tools: a webpage where Texans can track Texas Education Freedom Accounts spending, with a fuller searchable dashboard promised in the coming weeks.

Texas Comptroller Don Huffines on Thursday, Oct. 29, launched the first phase of his Taxpayer First Project transparency tools, unveiling a new webpage that allows Texans to track Texas Education Freedom Accounts spending, according to the Comptroller's announcement carried by EIN Presswire and read in full this cycle. The Comptroller's own news-release index lists the launch among its Oct. 29 releases.
The new site provides initial program metrics and will expand in the coming weeks into a full dashboard with searchable and visualized data, the announcement said. The webpage also includes a direct link to the Comptroller's Law Enforcement Operations whistleblower portal, where Texans can confidentially report suspected fraud.
The launch is described in the announcement as a key milestone in the broader Taxpayer First Project, Huffines' effort to strengthen transparency and financial oversight and to give Texans clearer insight into how their tax dollars are used. It is a separate Oct. 29 action from the Comptroller's trafficker-entities order published earlier today as SQ-20261029-050.
